(1)及物動詞“對待，看待，處理，視為”。treat
somebody badly 虐待某人;treat somebody / something
as... 把某人/某物看作是……。
She treats me aS her closest friend.
她把我看作是她的最親密的朋友。
(2)及物動詞“治療”。
The doctor treated his fever with pills.
醫生用藥片治療他的發燒。
(3)不及物動詞“款待。”
treat sb. to dinner 請某人吃飯
Whose turn is it to treat next time?
下次該誰請客?
(4)名詞“款待，請客，樂事”。
This is my treat. 這次我請客。
It's a treat to meet you. 見到你真高興。
