prison表示蹲監獄時, 其前不用冠詞
be sent to prison (被送進監獄)
be in prison (在監獄里)
be thrown into prison (被投入監獄)

period 期間，時期，學校的一節課，周期

the time when 其中when 引起定語從句

the time 可用于引起時間狀語從句，這時一般不加when。

9. continue + to do =go on to do sth (做完了一件事)開始做另一件事
continue doing=go on doing 繼續做某事
如：He continued sleeping/ to sleep as if nothing had happened.他繼續睡覺，好像什么也沒有發生。
