If you please的口語用法
1. 用于較正式場合，表示：請;勞駕(比 please 更客氣，多用于句末，有時也單獨使用)。如：
Come this way， if you please. 請往這邊走。
Pass me the salt if you please. 勞駕把鹽遞給我。
A:Shall I sit you up a little? 我扶你坐起一點好嗎?
B:If you please， nurse. 好，那就勞駕你了，護士。
2. 表示請求，意為：對不起;如果你不見怪的話;如果你許可的話。如：
I will take another cup， if you please. 對不起，我要再喝一杯。
If you please， we‘ll drink to Mrs Smith and the children. 如果你同意話，我們要為史密斯太太和孩子們干杯。
3. 用作較客氣的命令或警告，可譯為：請你……! 如：
If you want to come in， knock at the door first if you please. 要是你要進來，那就請你先敲門。
And Jack—let me know if you please the next time you use my dictionary. 杰克，你下次用我的詞典的時候請你告訴我一聲。
4. 表示驚奇或憤慨(常和now連用)，意為：你看怪不怪;竟有這種怪事;此事真少見。 如：
The missing letter was in his pocket， if you please!你說怪不怪，那封遺失的信竟在他口袋里。
And now， if you please， I‘m to get nothing for all my work. 真是怪事，我做了這么多工作，卻將一無所獲。
He‘s broken my bicycle， and now， if you please， he wants me to get it mended so that he can use it again. 竟有這種怪事，他把我的自行車弄壞了，還想我把它修好，以便他再用。
