根據(jù)筆者對考研英語閱讀理解文章以及題目多年進(jìn)行的潛心研究，總結(jié)出了以下13個重點考點和四大命題原則。考生應(yīng)該熟記這些重點考點，并在平時的練習(xí)中訓(xùn)練自己對這些考點的敏感程度，做到使自己的神經(jīng)能夠一找到這些考點就會條件反射般地興奮起來，從而增強(qiáng)對重點的記憶和理解。下面首先將一一介紹閱讀理解文章的敏感考點。

考研英語閱讀理解一共由A、B、C三個部分組成，本書主要涉及A部分，即單項選擇題。根據(jù)考試大綱的要求，考生應(yīng)能綜合運用英語語言知識和閱讀既能來理解選自各類書籍和報刊的不同類型的英文書面文字材料，能以每分鐘60個詞的速度閱讀各種題材和題材的文字材料（生詞量不超過所讀材料總詞匯量的3%），還應(yīng)讀懂與本人學(xué)習(xí)或工作有關(guān)的文獻(xiàn)、技術(shù)說明和產(chǎn)品介紹等。
