　　China has experienced the same sufferings as most other third countries, and is faced with similar problems and tasks.
　　3. 首先是維護民族獨立和國家主權, 積極發展民族經濟，以經濟獨立來鞏固已經取得的政治獨立。  
　　First, the third world shall defend their national independence and state sovereignty, and actively develop their national economies so that they can back up the political independence they have already won with economic independence.
　　4. 由于黨的農業政策，我國千千萬萬農民走上了致富的道路。
　　Thanks to the policies of the communist Party of China on agriculture, millions of  Peasants in China are getting rich.
　　5. 有些企業和單位，群眾自己選舉出的干部，一些毛遂自薦、自告奮勇擔任負責工作的干部，很快就作出了成績，比單是從上面指定的干部合適得多。
　　In some enterprises and other units, cadres who volunteered for leading posts or were elected to them by the masses have achieved much in little time and proved more capable than cadres appointed from above.
　　6. Nonstop waves of immigrants played a role, too and so did bigger crops of babies as yesterday’s “baby boom” generation reached its child-bearing years.（英譯漢）

　　譯文：不間斷的移民浪潮也起了作用——而且隨著昔日在“生育高峰期”出生的一代人達到生育年齡，嬰兒的出生數量增加了，這同樣起了作用。
