When I growup I’ll workwith animals. I don’t know which job yet.
我長大了要和動物在一起工作，但我還不確定是哪一個。
Maybe like my brother, he’s a specialvet.
可能會像我哥哥一樣，他是一名特殊的獸醫。
He looks after scarysnakes, some just out of eggs.
他負責照看恐怖嚇人的蛇，有些還是剛剛從蛋里出來。
He says that they are easy as they don’t have any legs.
他說照看蛇其實很容易，因為它們沒有腿。
My father is a scientist. He works to save rarebirds.
我的父親是一位科學家。他的工作是拯救稀有的鳥類。
Some are reallyclever, and can evensay some words.
有一些鳥真的很聰明，甚至會說一些話。
My mother is a dog groomer. She loves dogs, big or small.
我的母親是一位狗狗化妝師。她十分喜愛狗，無論是大的還是小的。
Once she styled a poodle, it looked just like a ball.
有一次她為一只卷毛獅子狗做造型，后來那只狗看上去就像一只球。
My sister, she trains dolphins. They practise in the pool.
我的姐姐，是海豚訓練師。他們在游泳池里訓練。
She hears them talk and sing - that sounds really cool!
她聽海豚們說話、唱歌——那聽上去真是太酷了！
So many animal jobs to choose but which one’s right for me?
有那么多有關動物的工作讓我選擇，但哪一個才適合我呢？
Because I’m only 10 years old, I’ll have towait and see.
不過因為我只有十歲，就只好以后等著瞧啦。
