[答案與解析] C come up 升起，被討論，出現;come
across 被理解，被傳達，碰見，偶然遇到;come along 進
展，進步，一道來;come to 共計，達到，達成。本句話意
思是“我們要去參加比賽，你為什么不一道去?”
13. come across
(1) come across作“碰到”，“(偶然)發現或遇見”解。
In the course of the experiment, they canle across some
new problems.
在實驗過程中他們碰到一些新問題。
(2) come across 有時可作“穿過”、“越過……而來”解
釋。
The Eighth Route Army easily came across the enemy
lines.
八路軍輕易地越過了敵人的防線。
[聯想]表示“(偶然)遇見”還可用以下形式表達：

2. in common 公用，共有;共同
