黑利伯瑞國際學(xué)校 主題升旗儀式 “世界郵政日”的故事

 　　金秋十月，普天同慶。剛剛歡度過國慶中秋雙節(jié)，10月9日我們又迎來了第49屆“世界郵政日”。舒適的天氣帶來好的心情，帶給人們新的收獲、新的希望。

　　10月8日早，黑利伯瑞以“世界郵政日”為主題舉行升旗儀式，帶領(lǐng)大家一起漲知識，了解“世界郵政日”。今天的升旗儀式由高中部11年級A班的李妍奕和顧添卓兩位同學(xué)主持。

　　“世界郵政日”到來之際，黑利伯瑞開展郵政知識普及活動(dòng)，讓學(xué)生了解郵政知識和世界郵政發(fā)展的歷程，通過師生演講向大家宣傳了郵政的由來。

　　老師們、同學(xué)們，很榮幸有這次機(jī)會(huì)與大家分享“世界郵政日”，每年的10月9日，全球都在慶祝“世界郵政日”。世界郵聯(lián)在1874年設(shè)立了“世界郵政日”。

　　在中國，郵政促進(jìn)了這個(gè)大國的信件和包裹的交付。令人難以置信的是，要確保郵政系統(tǒng)在一個(gè)規(guī)模如此之大的國家中順利運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn), 需要一個(gè)強(qiáng)大的組織。

　　與中國相似, 澳大利亞也是一個(gè)非常大的國家, 澳大利亞郵政自19世紀(jì)開始，郵政系統(tǒng)開始順利進(jìn)行。

　　在 2018年, 慶祝“世界郵政日”似乎無關(guān)緊要，然而, “世界郵政日”所代表的意義是非常重要的。國際郵政系統(tǒng)是由于不同的國家共同組織的，依靠相關(guān)的規(guī)則制度，共同運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)，幫助人們與朋友和家人，在全國各地或世界各地可以順暢的交流。

　　郵政系統(tǒng)幫助我們在網(wǎng)上購買和接收包裹, 它讓我們可以送禮物給我們愛的人，無論在這里還是海外,它為我們創(chuàng)造機(jī)會(huì)，以更加便捷的方式溝通，也可簡單地發(fā)送電子郵件或微信信息。

　　今天, 你可以借助慶祝“世界郵政日”，發(fā)送一個(gè)包裹或禮物給遠(yuǎn)方你在乎的人。謝謝。

　　Staff and students, I have been given the opportunity to share with you today about World Post Day. Each year on the 9th of October, World Post Day is Celebrated around the world. World Post Day recognizes the establishment of the Universal Postal Union in 1874.

　　Here in China, China Post facilitates the delivery of letters and packages across this huge country. It is incredible to think of the organisation required to ensure a postage system is successful in a country which is so large and contains so many people.

　　Similar to China, Australia is a very large country, and Australia Post has facilitated the postage system successfully since the 1800s.

　　In 2018, celebrating World Post Day may not seem relevant. However, what World Post Day represents is very important. The international postage system exists due to the willingness of different countries to work together. To set aside differences in order to create a system which allows people like us to communicate with friends and family across the country or the world.

　　The postage system allows us to buy and receive packages online, it lets us send gifts to our loved ones both here and overseas, and it gives us the opportunity to communicate in a more personal and meaningful way then simply sending an email or a WeChat message.

　　Today you may think celebrating World Post Day by sending a package or a gift to someone far away who you care about. Thank you.

　　敬愛的老師，親愛的同學(xué)們，大家上午好，我是來自11A班的史若言，站在我身邊的是我的同學(xué)汝欣蔚。今天，我們演講的題目是《世界郵政日 一路走來的郵政》。

　　世界郵政日是萬國郵政聯(lián)盟的世界性郵政紀(jì)念日，為每年的10月9日。“世界郵政日”的設(shè)立宗旨是向各會(huì)員國主管部門和廣大公眾宣傳郵政在各國文化、經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)發(fā)展中的重要作用，及萬國郵政聯(lián)盟的工作和取得的成就，以促進(jìn)郵政業(yè)務(wù)在全世界的發(fā)展。

　　郵政業(yè)務(wù)涉及千家萬戶，通達(dá)五湖四海，對促進(jìn)人類社會(huì)的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、科技、文化、教育等事業(yè)的發(fā)展具有重要作用。因此，“情系萬家，信達(dá)天下”已經(jīng)成為各國政府和郵政運(yùn)營企業(yè)共同追求的目標(biāo)。

　　World post day is the universal postal day of the universal postal union, which falls on October 9th each year. World postal day is established to promote the important role of postal services in the cultural, economic and social development of countries and the work and achievements of the universal postal union to promote the development of postal services worldwide.

　　The postal service, which covers thousands of households and stretches all over the world, plays an important role in promoting the development of politics, economy, science and technology, culture, education and other undertakings of human society. 　　At the same time, the international bureau of the upu printed a poster in seven languages, including Chinese, and distributed it to various countries for Posting. The director-general of the international bureau of the postal union delivers his message on world post day every year. The postal departments of various countries take advantage of world postal day to carry out extensive publicity activities through radio, television, newspapers and other means. China has been carrying out world postal day publicity and commemoration activities since April 1981.

　　此次“世界郵政日”宣傳活動(dòng)的成功舉辦，增進(jìn)了我校學(xué)生對郵政及其歷史的了解。活動(dòng)的開展，既讓學(xué)生關(guān)注了郵政，又讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)到很多課外知識，使得大家領(lǐng)悟到郵政事業(yè)與我們的生活息息相關(guān)，理解了這個(gè)特殊節(jié)日的設(shè)立意義。
