    2. Right here.就在這兒呢。right 修飾here，起著加強語氣的作用。

    3. All kinds—— sports ， editorials ， theater reviews. 什么方面
的都有——體育、社論、戲劇評論。

    sports：體育。

    editorials：社論。

    theater reviews ：戲劇評論。

    4. You name it， I've written it. 你說得出的，我都寫過。來自市面上
小販或店主常說的一句話：You name it ， we got it. （你要什么，我們有什
么。）有時只說半句：You name it …。

    5. Hmmm.相當于“嗯嗯”，表示贊許。

    6. Not until recently.最近才想到。此處not until 表示以前并不曾想到。

    7. One piece of advice. The most important thing is for you to decide
your own future.請容許我給你一句忠告。最重要的是你要為你自己的未來做出
決定。

    One piece of advice.：給你一句忠告。advice是不可數(shù)名詞，可說 some
advice. “一件”時說 a piece of advice，不能說an advice. the most important
：最重要的，important 的最高級形式。三音節(jié)及更多音節(jié)的詞變?yōu)楸容^級、最
高級用加上more，most的辦法。
