aspiration. 「解說」這是用and 連接的并列句式。在并列句中，如果主語不同，
而謂語動詞相同，則可以省略謂語動詞。所以every soul has its particular
aspiration中省略了has.

    5.災難是不可預料的，我們應該珍惜眼前的一切。

    「原句」Disaster is unpredictable ； we should treasure the present.
「解說」treasure用作名詞的意思是“珍寶，珍品”，轉化為動詞則解釋為“重
視，珍惜”，表示珍藏某物以防丟失，尤指珍貴的或富有精神價值的物品，用于
人時指出于愛慕之心而珍視或重視。

    6.生活是一個承諾，履行它吧。

    「原句」Life is a promise ， fulfill it.「解說」fulfill one's promise
就是“履行承諾”的意思，另外我們還可以說live up to one's promise， abide
by one's promise， keep one's word等等。

    7.樂觀的人看到玫瑰，悲觀的人只能看到刺。

    「原句」An optimist sees the rose ； a pessimist sees the thorn.「
解說」optimist和pessimist 是一對反義詞，分別表示“樂天派”和“悲觀者”。

    至于“樂觀的”和“悲觀的”則是optimistic和pessimistic.
