1. The "w" sound in the phrase "How are you"（How are you 中的w 音）

    W 這個音要發得有力和清楚。練習的時候盡量說慢一點，想象有個蘋果在你
口中。開口圓潤、最后閉口。

    2. The "th" sound in the word "this"（This中的th音）

    This中的th音，同thanks或者thick 中的th音是不同的。大家應該把舌頭輕
咬在上下齒之間來發音。如果念得正確，應該可以感覺到舌頭的輕微震動哦。

    3. Long vowel sounds（長元音）

    最后，是"need"， "great"， "tired"， "looking"這些單詞中的長元音。

    發這些長元音時要有意識將其拖長，從而突出這個音。

    有同學要問了，looking 這個單詞音標標注的不是短元音嗎，為什么也歸在
其中？來看Alison老師怎么說：

    The word "look" is sometimes classified as a "short vowel" because
the "oo" sounds different in words like "spook". However， the word "looking"
needs a stronger emphasis and an extension of the vowel.（look這個單詞
有時被歸為短元音，因為其中的"oo"與spook 等單詞中的"oo"聽上去是不一樣的，
但是要注意looking 這個詞中的元音需要被強調并且拉長。）
