7C原則的具體內容：

　　1.Clarity 清晰原則

　　注意要點：

　　1）make sure that your letter is so clear that it cannot be misunderstood. If it is ambiguous， further exchange of letters for explanation will become inevitable， thus it wastes both time and money.

　　注釋：make sure： 確定 misunderstand： 誤解，誤會 ambiguous：意思含糊的，模棱兩可的，不明確的 further： 更多的，更進一步的 exchange of letter： 書信往來 explanation： 解釋，說明 inevitable： 不可避免的，必然的

　　中文意思：確保信函所表達的意思清晰而不被誤解。如果信函表達的意思模棱兩可，那么必然就會有更多的信函來往用于解釋這些不清楚的地方，這樣即浪費時間又浪費金錢。

　　2）when you are sure about what you want to say， say it in plain， simple words.

　　注釋：plain： 淺顯的，坦率的

　　中文意思：當你確定你想表達什么的時候，盡量用淺顯，簡單的話語表述。

　　2.Conciseness 簡潔原則

　　注意要點：

　　英文原文：A good rule to remember when composing business letters is to keep the language simples， clear and easy to read. Concise writing， however， avoids using overlong， flowery， or old-fashioned words， saving the reader‘s time and attracting their attention.

　　注釋：remember： 牢記，記住 compose： 寫作，創作 language： 語言 avoid： 避免 overlong： 太長的 flowery： 花哨的，詞藻華麗的 old-fashioned： 老式的， 過時的， attract： 引起（興趣、注意等）attention： 注意，注意力

　　中文意思：當你寫作商業書信時要牢記一個原則就是要保持語言簡單，清晰并且易讀。避免使用太長的，花哨的或者老套的詞句，簡潔的文字可以節省閱讀者的時間并且更能吸引他們的注意力。

　　3.Courtesy/Politeness 禮貌原則

　　注意要點：

　　1）one of the most important things is promptness， especially when a reply is given to a customer‘s letter， do it without any delay.

　　注釋：promptness： 敏捷，迅速

　　中文意思：最重要的一點就是迅速，特別是當你回復客戶的信函時，不能有任何延遲。

　　2）avoid irritating， offensive and belittling statement.

　　注釋：irritating： 使憤怒的， 刺激的， 氣人的 offensive： 討厭的，無禮的，攻擊性的 belittling： 輕視的，蔑視的 statement： 陳述，語句

　　中文意思：避免使用過激的，無禮的和輕視的語句。

　　3）use diplomacy and tact to overcome differences. Courtesy consists not only in using polite phrase like “please”， “thank you”， but also in showing your consideration for your reader.

　　注釋：diplomacy： 外交手腕，交際手段，交際方法 tact：機智，老練 overcome： 戰勝，克服 difference： 分歧，爭論 consist： 包括，由…組成，在于 not only…but also： 不但…而且… phrase： 慣用語，措詞consideration： 體諒，考慮，體貼

　　中文意思：運用外交手法和機智去平息分歧。禮貌原則不但要用禮貌的措辭比如“請”，“謝謝”，而且要表現出你對閱讀者的體貼。
