三、航空貨運代理、海關代理等的職責
英文原文：In addition to the freight forwarding agencies， the shipping business has also given rise to another occupation， the customs broker. The customs broker gives assistance to international shippers both in getting the necessary documentation for outgoing shipments and in getting incoming shipments through customs formalities.
注釋：shipping business： 航運業 give rise to： 導致，引起，使發生 occupation： 職業 customs broker： 報關行，海關代理 give assistance to sb ：給某人以幫助 outgoing： 外出的，出發的（在此為“運出的”）incoming： 進來的（在此為“運進的”）customs formality：海關手續
中文意思：除了貨運代理外，航運業還產生了另外一種職業，即海關代理。海關代理幫助國際托運人準備運出貨物必要的單證和辦理運進貨物的海關手續。
英文原文：In almost all countries， incoming freight must go through customs， just like an arriving passenger， before it can be released to the consignee – the person or company receiving the shipment.
注釋：arriving passenger： 到港旅客 go through customs 辦理海關手續release： 釋放，放松
中文意思：差不多所有國家，入境貨物在放貨給收貨人——接受貨物的個人后者公司之前，同到港旅客一樣，都必須辦理海關手續。
英文原文：Freight usually must be opened and inspected in the presence of the consignee or someone who represents him. This is one of the jobs that a customs broker can perform.

英文原文：In addition to air freight agents， many airlines also have air freight sales representatives – outside sales personnel – whose duties are similar to those who work in the charter area. Besides developing new business， the sales representatives may also deal regularly with special customers – probably shippers who frequently use air freight service.
