1. come (verb.)
Come here! 到這里來！
He will never come to much (= will never be successful). 他將來絕不會很有作為。
How did you come to be so foolish? 你為什么如此愚蠢？

2. get (verb.)
We can get 15 channels on TV. 我們可以收看到15個頻道的電視節目。
Do you get me? 你明白我的意思嗎？
Ah! I’ve got you there! 啊！這下我可難到你啦。
3. give (verb.)
He gave me his cold. 他把感冒傳給我。

4. go (verb.)
Go get a doctor. 去叫醫生來！

5. keep (verb.)
Does your watch keep good time? 你的表走得準嗎？

6. let (verb.)

The pair of rubber shoes let (in) water. 這雙膠鞋漏水。
